Oh my Steve... what brilliant colours - a gorgeous bird. A very well timed shot too.

I had to go and look up your half a bee song. I wasn't really near a telly for most of the 70's and 80's!

Awesome Steve!!!! Brilliant timing with this gorgeous bird having its wings spread and its tail flared. You can even see its Lilac breast. Superb stop-action, vibrant colors, lighting, feather detail, and setting. Exceptional work!!!!!!!
 
For over a year now both my friend and myself having been trying to capture a (Indian) Roller in flight displaying the wing colors.....not successful so far!!! You have done it!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats! This is a gorgeous shot .....those colors are stunning! Thanks for sharing....Guess I will have to try, try and try again...till I succeed!!!
