White-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys)

Another poorly lit one from my archives, but I think this was the one and only time I ever even saw one of these around my porch feeders, they usually hang out in the wild rose shrubs in my field. He didn't seem quite sure how that seed contraption worked, ;)
Location
my front porch
Date taken
2006
Scientific name
Zonotrichia leucophrys
Equipment used
Kodak easyshare, 6.1 megapix-woohoo;)
Super close-up capture Lindy, I've had the pleasure of meeting one of these pretty male Spadges here in the UK about 3 years ago.

some of the birds that hang around wild grown bushes just can't cope with garden life, hehehehe.
