    What you can see of head and neck in images 6 and 7 still suggestive of Honey to my eyes, but overall on these images alone I think you end up with "buzzard-sized bird".

    Agree 2nd and 3rd images very suggestive of Honey-buzzard. The 2nd even hints at that strange habit Honeys have of extending the neck and holding the head up or sideways.

    Have to say I prefer the original! It looks more 'natural' than the edited version which to my eyes is a touch too contrasty and colourful. But you might want to discount that because I'm not an expert image editor and my PC screen is not calibrated.

    The head and bill shape (quite rounded and fine) do not look right for Goshawk to me, better for Honey. The flight behaviour described could fit either but I'd say more typical of Honey Buzzard which seem able to move bouyantly but almost invisibly low across the ground. Don't know what it is.

    Not identifiable on the image alone (!), but there's a fair chance it was a Griffon Vulture <Gyps fulvus>. There are some in the Maritime Alps after a reintroduction project and I have seen individuals probably dispersing from there in the north Apennines. But that of course is not an ID for...

    Goshawk indeed! Those long wings with broad secondaries and narrow hand very typical. Don't know how true this is for everywhere but they can be very hard to see even when you know they are there! They keep under the canopy for much of the time. Ears can be better than eyes when trying to track...

    Looks like Golden Eagle to me. Barring on wings broad, well-spaced, a little erratic/obscure in places, barring in Steppe typically finer (more and narrower bars) and regular. Carpal patches not well-defined as in many Steppe. Wing shape and tail proportion good for GE.

    I'm very rusty but this looks a lot more like Pernis than Aquila to me too. But troubled by faint goldish tint on back of neck in 3rd image - but possibly just reflection, and bill looking slightly more robust than typical Honey Buzz - but possibly just haze and unsharpness.
