    Chiffchaff race, Buckton ,East Yorkshire,UK

    This Chiffchaff was found in the Heligoland trap area at Buckton yesterday. I found it perplexing.No calls ,and very skulking behaviour.At times ,the super seemed strong ,others less. Consensus among my friends is that its not tristis, but what race would the fund ascribe it to?Thanks in advance...

    On a site for Indian birds, some discussion re the I'd of this bird. Taken July in Utterakhand at 4400 m. Linnet would be a rarity, twice less so and also female rosefinches to consider. Any thoughts/ help appreciated.
