    I don't like them myself- I find them too wishy washy and prefer watercolour crayons. You can use them as Mike described and they are much more vibrant and transparent.     I'd like to echo what tim said- doesn't he have a way with words- and add that I think the warmth of the orange/reds really compliment the greens nicely and add a feeling of warmth to the pictuure. Well done :t:

    :hi: Vectis- hope you have been having some fun. Nice to see you sketching. I'm not doing alot of bird work myself at the moment but try to fit abit in and keep up with all the fantastic work on the forum- it seems to get better and better - very inspiring.
