    We joined the small crowd up near the sluice where a wryneck had been spotted. It flew around landing in trees and bushes making a few photos possible, but very hard to spot, very well camouflaged!

    Excellent Arthur! the eyes really stare at you. Never seen a Goshawk in this country, but recently saw one in the Azores, where it is the bird on the national flag. Geoff
