    20x eyepiece on a 883 scope?

Henry, I did get an opportunity to see these two eyepieces side by side on an 88 scope. They were a little different in profile but when looking thru them I couldn't really tell the difference. I did purchase the TSE-21WE that originally was for the 82 series scope. The adapter for both...

    Nikon D80 - Kowas TSN-PZ - 883 - Problems

RJM and Wings, Thanks for the input. I switched the camera to manual and now the camera works with the scope and TSN-PZ zoom adapter. The camera also works with the 50mm lens mounted with TSN-DA10 adapter on the zoom eyepiece. I now need lots of practice to get clear pictures, sunshine would be...

    Nikon D80 - Kowas TSN-PZ - 883 - Problems

Well I tried Digiscoping for the first time this weekend without much success, there were a couple of problems that I do not know how to try and correct. First a Nikon D80 with a 50mm lens, the light meter works when looking thru the camera lens as one unit but when the camera/lens is attached...

    600ED v 660ED

I have used the 663 scope and it is a very good scope. As Rick has mentioned Kowa 663 scope has florite glass but only the series 88 scopes use pure fluorite glass. Greg

    Nikon ED50 Three Questions

Steve, That is an interesting scope grip you have attached: http://www.nikon.com/products/sportoptics/lineup/scopes/ed50/img/pic_010.jpg That is a good question, on a walk-about can the ED50 take the place of binoculars? Can you lean against a bldg, tree, rock or railing to steady the scope...

    Nikon ED50 Three Questions

I am considering purchasing the 50mm as a walk-around "pocket scope" My three (3) questions are: 1. Carry a small/light monopod or a tripod? 2. Straight or Angled? 3. Fixed 30mm or Zoom eyepiece? I have a large angled scope with a tripod and both fixed and zoom at this time that is terrific but...

    Kowa 883 Photo Attachment TSN-PZ, PA2D, PA6

Rick, Have you used a zoom adapter previously, I have a concern that the zoom attachmant may degrade the view more than a fixed unit? The flexibility of the zoom would sure be nice. Also, does the zoom vinette but the two fixed units will not vinette? Do you know if the zoom attachment is less...
