    While black sunflower is popular in my garden, nothing beats sunflower hearts. Can't give any form of peanuts away though.

    I have found the Squirrel Buster brand works very well. In fact the squirrels gave up shortly after I installed them.

    Rhe stroppiest birds in my garden have to be the Greenfinches when they fight each other over their spot on the feeder.

    Silly thing was that I was quite casual about the squirrels stealing food. It was the destruction that sealed their fate.

    I find peanut kernels are almost a dead loss. By far the most popular is the sunflower hearts, followed by black sunflower and fatballs. Having lost several feeders to squirrels I purchased a couple of Squirrel Buster feeders and the squirrels gave up within a coupke of days. Not seen them...
