    I saw a Buzzard with a rabbit fairly high up having to take it through a throng of Lesser Black Backed Gulls. They kept flying at it but luckily it didn't drop the meal for the family.     Waxwings

    Had a few more Waxwings locally with one sporting colour rings. After some enquiries it had been rung in Elgin Scotland on 15th November and seen again in Haslingden Lancashire on 25th December. The Waxwings seem to be avoiding Lancashire. How are numbers and sightings elsewhere?
