    Black Bear Attack!

    Hi, Sorry to about your bear problems. I live in New Hampshire and have had bears destroy my feeding station TWICE! The only way I have found to stop them is to bring my feeders in at night. I look forward to December when they go to sleep. John

    Robin's Nest

    Robins often raise two broods in a season. I had a pair of titmice build a nest and raise a brood under my porch. About a week after the young birds left the nest I watched the pair dismantle their nest and build a new one about 20feet away for a second brood. John

    nest boxes in the winter

    Hi, I always clean out my nest boxes. Most birds prefer building a new nest each year. I think it is part of their bonding together as a pair. I would leave the unused nest boxes in place, unless you think they are too close to the other nest boxes. John
