    Kidderminster Peregrines

Rubbish! The more people who know about these particular birds the more effectively they will be protected in my view! I did this because I am told they are not wanted by the restaurant below and that the maintenance people who look after the park are planning an outside clean and refurb of the...

    Grimley and Holt

Dead swans! They were all on the larger of the 2 main lakes near the sand and gravel workings where we park our cars (the northern end of the reserve). Forgive me but yesterday is the first time I have visited this place. There was one down near the Camp House Pub too.

Dead swans! I have seen 6 dead swans today! Dave from the Swan Rescue Centre at Abbots Wood was there to record them but I didn't see any of the corpse's removed for scientific analysis which I find puzzling!

Mystery bird? It had a green tag on its left wing with a yellow 'T' on it top and bottom!

Buzzard or Marsh Harrier? Saw this bird over the flashes this afternoon. It was behaving like a Marsh Harrier but looked to me more like a Buzzard?

Arthur and a burnt out hide! I too have very fond memories of Arthur especially in the cold of winter when he always came to feed the birds at the feeding station on the flashes, freezing cold and I had to poor my hot coffee from my flask to thaw out the lock on the store so that he could gain...

    Crazy birds!

Gosh! Blimey - I guess you should know? I got the shot on Skomer last summer and after some research in my bird book I came to the conclusion that it was a Meadow Pipit but I bow to your superior knowledge. If you don't know what a Wheatear looks like who would? Thanks for pointing it out and...

    Crazy birds!

Dunnock behaving badly? I hear what you are saying but we have a large conservatory and it would be difficult to mark every pane of glass I think? I only happened to notice him a couple of days ago - he may have been doing it for much longer I don't know as its only first thing from first...

    Crazy birds!

Strange behaviour? Meant to ask if anyone else has ever witnessed this kind of behaviour?
