    Not really, Omar, there are hundreds of Steppe Gulls down here. I was thinking more in terms of Tamyrensis - I vaguely remember somebody somewhere saying that light-winged birds of this type were probably nominate Cachninnans, but this looks nothing like the Cachinnans I'm used to seeing in...

    I'd be grateful for any comments on this bird. From the moult it ought to be Heuglin's, but the wing looks very pale to me. C
