Collins bird guide 3rd edition in an App

Does anyone use the Android app in their family library? If so, have you updated and managed to update any of the other phones without paying for each phone/account to upgrade? Surely the upgrade should be available to use in the family library in the same way as the App is?

    Rough-legged buzzard? - Northwest Turkey

As Smiths has said, this is a very pale Long-legged Buzzard. Rough-legged Buzzard would never show those buffy and rufescent tones.

    Dodging Diver at Backwater Reservoir

And, if you want to add likelihood into the equation, Red-throated is generally the rarer of the two inland.

    Dodging Diver at Backwater Reservoir

I'm not sure the photos are good enough to be 100% sure? The dark back, contrasting with paler nape, and a lot of white on the flanks, gives some Black-throated Diver vibes to me, but never easy from less than adequate photos, and may be a Red-throated.

    Trinidad - Shore Bird Identification

Is it actually a 1cy bird though, or a moulting adult?

    Storm Petrel

99.9% chance it is Elliot's. Certainly looks like one, and they're abundant there. But without seeng the belly, it's tough to be categoric.

    Shetland UK - Redpoll ID

Looks more like a Common (Mealy) to me, slightly overexposed, but would prefer to see more photos.

I don't think they occur there...
