Some digiscoping experiments with a dslr

he says it wont work with only the t-mount. Try to place the scope and something to put the camera on so you can line up the camera and scope. Then adjust the distance between them and se how much is needed to get focus.

What is needed for DSLR digiscoping?

if you attach a lens to an eyepiece, what focus do you put your lens on? When i trie to focus the lens the only difference i can see i a sligt change in magnification. The sharpness stays the same. (looking trough the viewfinder) with the pentax DA40mm pancake i get no vignetting. I did som...

What is needed for DSLR digiscoping?

that should be hacking the firmware. But when using slr you want to use the viewfinder since you don't get mirror lock-up in live view. Anyone having experiense with this kind of eyepiece...

What is needed for DSLR digiscoping?

I've tried this with my celestron c5 pentax k20d and the da40mm f2,8 pancake it's hooked up to the eyepiece with a stepdown ring I haven't tested much since i think i get better result with primefocus but i'm not shure. It's a much bulkier setup and if you need to have your scope high to get...

    Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3

I have the DMC-LX1. I think it's a great camera but a bit on the noisy side(probably better on the LX3). Have taken som great photos with it. And it has all the manual settings you need. I have never used it for digiscoping so i wouldn't know how if that's gonna work.

    astro eyepiece for digiscoping

Some digiscoping experiments with a dslr

thank's alot again. i agree with the iso. I don't no why it was iso 100 in that session but i should have that in mind next time i go out. The noise levels at iso 800 with the pentax is great so i will use that. The Gitzo video head is god for 5kg and the scope/camera/adapter is 3,6kg. But i...

Mute swan Paddeling on the lake

Taken with a Celestron C5 and a pentax k20d 150meters maybe Croped and adjusted. I don't know how it is other places but in norway the Swan's are nesting and stay att the same lake all summer. They don't seem to leave before the lake freezes. i Think it's about 40pairs on the local lake, and...
