thanks Marian. It is a fab shot, I couldn't believe how he was just sitting there waiting for me to take a pic of him. Little poser. One of those shots that you can't quite believe. I love living where I do and sharing my life with these fabulous creatures. And frogs are some of my favourite...

    Billy's Threesome

Billy is our resident Green Tree-Frog. He appears to be at the bottom of the pile. Go Billy!

    Mr & Mrs Sunny

Mr & Mrs Sunbird doing their mating dance outside my kitchen window. She was so-ooo fluffed out, she looked like a tennis ball and he was practically turning himself inside out in order to impress. I was certainly impressed, not enough to build a nest with him however.

    Funky Sal

me doing the other thing I do best ... it's a promotional shot for a poster. ps. if anyone wants to hear what I sound like (block your ears :-), Kimbo & I have just had our first go at recording me. We had no idea what we were doing, but thought the end result wasn't too bad. It's by an...

    My friend Sweep

Detail of a door I have painted in our house to pay tribute to my little friend 'Sweep' the cuckoo-shrike, who I rescued, released and is now living happily in our area.

    Sun Arise over Narragon Beach

to quote Rolf Harris "Sun Arise, she bring in the morning. Fluttering her skirts all around. Sun Arise, she come with the dawning. Spreading all the light all around Sun Arise, on the Kangaroo Paw. Glistening the dew all around Sun Arise, filling all the hollows. Lighting up the hills all...

Nice to see someone having fun with painting. Life is too short to be serious. Smile and make other people smile is my motto. well done (ps, I am a fellow painter of wildlife, and you guessed it, mine are never serious)
  14. Rhapsody in Blue

    Rhapsody in Blue

Magnificent Ulysses butterfly. These guys are so hard to photograph, they never seem to stay still long enough. Their colour is so amazingly electric that it looks fake. We have masses of them fluttering around our garden at the moment as it is peak breeding season.

No Adalia, we didn't rename him, we were so used to calling him Camilla, we figured he'd get over it. Cross-dressing cassowary maybe? :-)
