    Mr & Mrs Sunbird doing their mating dance outside my kitchen window. She was so-ooo fluffed out, she looked like a tennis ball and he was practically turning himself inside out in order to impress. I was certainly impressed, not enough to build a nest with him however.

    Magnificent Ulysses butterfly. These guys are so hard to photograph, they never seem to stay still long enough. Their colour is so amazingly electric that it looks fake. We have masses of them fluttering around our garden at the moment as it is peak breeding season.
