Swarovski NL Pure 8x32 vs CL Companion 8x30

Against the SLC 8x42, almost same size. SLC is slightly heavier

    What's your most used binocular?

Most used, the Curio by far, I feel naked if I leave home without them, I consider the best ever the NL8x32, and the most loved are the SLC's and the objects of desire are the Leica's UV 8x20 and Retrovid 7x35.

    Choosing 8x32 vs 7x42 vs 8x25

For me the the golden standard at the sea is the Steiner Commander, but the Hawke is so nimble and light compared to it that I am thinking to sell the later, there is an universe of difference in user friendliness. The small Hawke is so well rounded for a couple hundred bucks that is a very hard...

    Choosing 8x32 vs 7x42 vs 8x25

Another vote for the Hawke Marine 7x32, amazing thing, quite compact and sturdy, the 7x50 stays at home

Advice: Not too expensive toss in the pocket/bag compact binoculars?

Give a try to the Hawke Endurance 8x25, not even near to the Curios, but at the same level of the Kowa.

Advice: Not too expensive toss in the pocket/bag compact binoculars?

You may be aiming at two different products, compacts and pockets. For compacts, the number and variety of choices is immense. For true pockets not so much. If the golden standard enclose the Curio, Leica Trinovid and Ultravid, Kowa Genesis... the issue is to get an affordable substitute for...

    Swarovski eye candy...

You've got quite a complete set, I can only encourage the curio, is always by my side, addictive. May I ask you what made you decide for the NL 10x32 and not the 8? About the big magnification, I enjoy the 15x56 mostly with a monopod and a pistol head, but it can be used handheld only for...

Field trip, some of the family binos together

Looking for some pocket binos I'm curious about the curios.

Another Curio lover here. They passed the test of time. There is a kind of darwinism of binos when you have a bunch of them available. More than 50% of the glassing time is spent with the tiny Curio over the big SLCs. I surprise myself choosing the Curio as my first option most of the times.

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

At the sea, Hawke Marine 7x32, very well rounded bino, and the classic Steiner Commander 7x50.
