    The New Maven B3 6x30

Would be very interesting if someone comparing the Maven 6x30 with Viper HD 6x32.

    ZEISS TERRA ED 8x25 pocket

It is really interesting. As far as I knew, the sample was made in Japan but the bulk production is made in China. I asked EO while they're at pre-order status. They said China. Could it be a small quantity pilot run in Japan ?

Swarovski SLC 7x42 or Swarovision 8x50?

A newly design 32/30mm no matter 7x or 8x SLC with HD glasses with good ER would make me buy one.

Trinovid 8x32 BA, how does it compare?

They are very nicely made. Built like a tank though a bit heavy. ER at 14mm is not for glasses wears with deep set eyes. Optically they are still very good, but with similar money or even lower you could get better modern bins. So, it depends what is your main concern.

    Where are they?

They might be busy at some other matters, but Charles of ZR never show up to update the status of ED4 though many members are interested to know.

    euro HD 8x32 transmission

Just don't understand why Meopta still not applying dielectric coating while nowadays even $300 bins are having.

old swaro sv 10x50 vs new swaro sv 10x50 fieldpro

Ted is right that the 'Improvement' of coating over the years couldn't be detected by bare eyes. Of course, newer is better is always true. The biggest difference I could 'feel' is the RB effect is better controlled at the latest SV8.5x42.

    Need help - Notarem 8x32

Zeiss Notarem is very unfamous for their collimation stability. There are quite a handful of technicians in UK who can strenghten the prism and do a cleaning job.

    best poro for under $200?

Suggest to have a good look at these 6.5x32 bins. https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/binoculars/levenhuk-sherman-pro-6-5x32/#.VgWEFfmEClV I am using the same bins but with domestic (China) brand. Optically best among similar even higher priced porros. They equipped with flatfield eyepieces and...

    EL 8.5X42 dilemma

I prefer the SLC Neu more than the EL (non-SV). With similar money (or lower), you could have a look at Meostar HD, Razor HD or Conquest HD. Even the Leica latest Trinovid. If fund is not a concern, SV10x50 is the best 10x bins I've ever tried and the RB is well controlled within the SV series.

    Styrka Binoculars

The S7 8x30 ED is quite intersting, which having so many similarities with Monarch & Kite Lynx 830. But, at $499 is not cheap.
