Is there an adaptor for Kowa TSN 883 and iPhoneX

I have a TSN 883. A couple of years ago I bought a Samsung S8. There was no Kowa adapter available for the S8 at that time. I bought the adapter for the Samsung S5 (same location of camera as S8), as well as an extra case made for the S8. All I did was peel the adapter part from the phone case...

    Celestron Echelon 20x70 ?

The Celestron Skymaster Pro has been shown on Celestron.com for quite a while but it is not available in the USA and Canada for a few more months. Are you able to get it where you live? The Celestron Skymaster is an older model that has received very good reviews as a lower cost binocular for...

    Celestron Echelon 20x70 ?

If price is an issue and you can wait a few months until it comes out, it might be worthwhile to wait for reviews of the new Celestron 20x80 Skymaster Pro.

    TE-17W 30x vs TE-20H 25x

Which one is better for digiscoping? The TE-17W is discontinued but is still available. Does the longer eye relief and larger exit pupil on the TE-20H make it better for digiscoping?

    Kowa 883 with nikon D7200

Thanks for posting that information. I received my TSN-PA7 a few days ago and am very happy with it. It is very easy (and quick) to switch back and forth between looking through the eyepiece and taking photos. My PA7 has the protective glass for the camera sensor. I have tried it with both...

    Kowa 883 with nikon D7200

Please post what they told you. I think it will help others in the future who are considering the various digiscoping options for Kowa scopes.

    Kowa 883 digiscoping options

A couple of retailers in Europe with the new TSN-PA7: - https://translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.orniwelt.de/products/Spektive/Kowa/Kowa-Digiskopie/Kowa-TSN-PA7-Digiskopieadapter.html&prev=search -...

    Kowa 883 digiscoping options

Sorry, I forgot to answer your question. Yes the model number is the same. If your local shop sells the one without the glass then it is an original one. I saw several online retailers based in Europe who sell the new one - and they specifically mention the glass. One website said that...

    Kowa 883 digiscoping options

I am still waiting to receive my PA7 so I don't have first hand knowledge but it is my understanding that even with a full-frame dslr there is no vignetting. This was confirmed by Paul Hackett in a thread last year. You should have no issues with your D7200.

    Kowa 883 digiscoping options

What eyepiece do you have for your Kowa? Note that any TSN-PA7 you buy new should have protective glass at the camera end of the adapter. If you aren't switching your D7200 back and forth from regular photography to digiscoping then there should be little worry about dust on the sensor.

    Spotting scope advice

Another fan of the Regal M2 65. I got mine in Spring 2013 and it came with a simple black case which I thought was fine. I was able to close the zippers even with my long Manfrotto plate attached. I think it could be used as a stay on case but access to the focus knobs would be a little...

I use the DotTune method. There are a few threads here about it but I suggest you just Google it.

Anybody Try the new Kowa DLSR PA7 Adapter?

Hi Paul, Several posters here and some youtube videos I have found advise that it can be difficult to get great images where there is no camera lens between the scope eyepiece and the camera sensor (like the TE-11WZ/TSN-PA7 combo). Based on your photos on flickr, that is not true - well maybe...

How do you balance your Kowa digiscoping rig?

I am looking at digiscoping with the TSN-883, TSN-PA7 and my dslr, and I am wondering how to balance it on my fluid head. I see that Swarovski sells a special spotting scope rail. Is there anything similar from Kowa? Thanks.
