Distribution

Philippines (Cebu)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.

It was formerly included in Philippine Hawk-Owl.

Habitat

They are to be found in a variety of forest types.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists of rats and small birds, such as sunbirds, flowerpeckers, tits and flycatchers.
