Identification

- Greenish-brown upperparts
- Whitish face and throat with brown freckles
- Two pale spotted wing bars
Distribution
Mountains of Guadalcanal (Solomon Islands).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species.
Formerly considered conspecific with Makira Thrush.
Habitat
Transitional forests between montane and mossy forests at heights around 1450–1500 m.
Behaviour
Diet
There is no real information available. They are thought to feed on the ground.
