- Rufous brown upperparts
- Grey crown and cheeks
- Cinnamon-rufous below underparts
Distribution
South America: found in Colombia, Venezuela, Guianas, Bolivia and Brazil

Castelnau's Antshrike has been considered conspecific with this species in the past.
