Identification

Dull brown plumage.

Distribution

Endemic to Borneo.

Taxonomy

Formerly considered conspecific with Sooty Barbet.

• C. f. tertius:

• Northern Borneo

• C. f. fuliginosus:

• Borneo (except northern part)

Habitat

Lowland to sub-montane forest.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet includes fruit.

Breeding

They nest in colonies.
