Distribution
North-eastern Australia (interior southern Cape York Peninsula)
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Sparsly timbered woodland savannah. The seem to like sitting on termite mounds.
Behaviour
Diet
They mainly eat small grass seeds.
