Identification

15–16 cm

  • Olive-green upperparts
  • Striped head

Distribution

Central America: found in southeast Mexico, Belize and Honduras.

  • Tropical north-central Honduras (Yoro and Olancho)

Habitat

Tropical evergreen forests and forest edges from sea level up to around 900 m. Also seen in coffee plantations.
