Identification
27 cm.
Distribution
South America: endemic to Chile (Arica south to Valdivia).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Rocky coasts.
Behaviour
The most maritime of all passerine birds.
Diet
The diet includes invertebrates and small fish.
