Identification

Distribution

Brazil, Peru and Bolivia.

Taxonomy

Clements1 sees this as a monotypic species, while others recognize salvini and maculatus

Habitat

Behaviour

They build a shallow cup nest of narrow strips of dry palm frond leaflets in a hollow palm stump. 1 oval light pink with dark maroon stripes egg with a smooth matte surface, is laid.
