Identification
9.5-10 cm. Green upperparts and off-white underparts, bold yellow supercilium over each eye, prominent yellow double wing bars, black and white pattern on the tertials.
Distribution
Breeds in Asia and far northeastern Europe, east from just west of the Urals to China.
Taxonomy
Monotypic. There were formerly considered to be three subspecies, but humei and mandellii are now split as a separate species Hume's Leaf Warbler.
Habitat
Lowland and mountain woodlands.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes insects.
Breeding
They nest in a tree.
