    Really bad photo - Copalinga Lodge, Ecuador 3000ft Andean foothills 16/1/24

    I'm pretty sure this will remain unidentified - late in the day, overcast weather, against the sky and distant! But just in case anyone has an idea. Was feeding with a mixed flock of tanagers and I'd say similar size to the associated Paradise and Blue-necked Tanagers. Unedited photos.

    No photos I'm afraid but anyone have ideas on a pair of flyover parrots? Not Olive throated Parakeets, def Parrot sp but Merlin app does not suggest any parrot species for Amergris Caye. Maybe Red lored or White fronted but not sure what they get on the Caye.

    Sandwich Tern, Pagham Harbour LNR 2nd Jan 2023

    I'm unaware if there is perhaps a known wintering bird but had a Sandwich Tern twice this afternoon off Church Norton and Harbour mouth this afternoon at about 1330 and 1500. Had to look twice when I initially saw it but definitely a Sarnie. Very unexpected.

    Hi all. I am looking to buy a sub £1000 10x32 pair of binoculars as I don't always want to carry my Swarovski EL 10x42 around. It seems that Leica Ultravid HD (not the HD+) can be found in this price bracket. Any users views on these? Other brands/models that might be better? Thanks
