    Pictures taken on 18th Nov. 2012 , western India , state of Gujarat , near Vadodara city . Distribution maps say either citrine , yellow or grey . Which is which ? Or are they both the same in different plumage ? Please help.

    There is a blackbuck sanctuary in western India in the state of Gujarat . Plenty of birds of prey winter here... mostly harriers . Pied harrier is not found here as per distribution maps .     This was captured on 14th Oct. on the western coast of India , in Gujarat . I think it is Green Sandpiper because of the greenish legs . Wifey thinks it is Common Sandpiper . ?????? . So , which is it ?
