    Hand sanitizers and optics

    Does anyone have any thoughts on how all the different sanitizers we are using effect the armor and coatings of our bins and scopes. I know that insect repellents with deet can harm optics but not sure about all the stuff we are using now.

    Iphone & Phoneskope stuff - what am I missing?

    I use the Phoneskope brand with my iPhone XR and my ATX 95 and 65 and have had no issues. It took a short time to fiddle with it to figure it out. Now I just attache the phone to the scope, pinch open the view and take picture. For me its exactly what I want and need.

    700 RC2 vs 128 RC vs XPRO 2-way

    I use the XPRO head on my ATX 95 with no issues. That replaced the 128RC that is now my spare.

    Swarovski Scope ATX vs STX - which do u use it for

    I had the STX and found it harder to get the height placement correct. I am an eyeglass wearer so maybe that had something to do with that problem. Also, it was hard to share with my wife who is shorter. I sold the STX and got an ATX and it fits my needs better. I can get the right eye placement...

    Do i need Swarovski binos and scope?

    I have an ATX 95 plus the 10 x 42 EL SV. Both are great to use as a pair. During warbler migration a scope is difficult to use so I mainly use he bios. The use of each depends on the type of birding I am doing. For me the pair is perfect.

    Bird seen in Fossil Rim Wildlife Center about an hour south of Ft Worth. I think its either a Yellow Throated Vireo or Pine Warbler. What do you think?

    Swarovski Service

    When I sent mine in I removed both the rain guard and the objective covers. Just wrap in some bubble wrap and all will be good. You won't be disappointed with there service.

    Best tripod/head for Swarovski 95

    I have my STX 95 on the Manfrotto129RC and dont have an issue. The scope fits directly to the head without a plate. I have the head matched with the Manfrotto 055 XCPRO carbon fiber legs . All is fine.

    Vortex Razor HD 65 with 16-48x instead of Nikon ED82 + ED50 for general use..?

    I have the Vortex 65 and am very happy with it. I have many times looked through the Swaro ATS 65 and find it comparable. For the price, I think it is very good. Those are my eyes and my views. Everyone sees things differently.
