    Just started working in Leigh this year and as I'm a keen birder I'll keep my eyes open. I was looking at the main large Mill building earlier in the season but so far haven't see any Peregrines. Used to work in Liverpool and there were a couple of pairs that I used to see there on a regular basis.

    Trystan, May I respectfully suggest that Pheasant shoot owners work on ways in which reduce Pheasant collisions with cars, and DEFRA get back to doing what they ought to be doing which is protecting this countries native species, not persecuting them!

    peregrine falcon on liverpool cathedral

    Hi They have nested before on the Anglican Cathedral that I know of, and one young Peregrine was rung. This was quite a few years ago. At least 10 years ago I think. I am not sure about recent history though. They nest in Birkenhead, and elsewhere in Liverpool too.
