    Swarovksi ATX 65mm or ATS 80 HD

    In my humble opinion I think the atx line is far superior the ats. If you could scrape together a few extra bucks to get the atx 85 mm objective there would be no argument. Besides the weight and cost penalty of the atx.

    No question about it. The swaro atx line is the best piece of equipment on the market.

    Tripod for ATX 65?

    I really like the siuri tripods. They are carbon fiber so very light but also very sturdy. I paired mine with the manfrotto pan head.

    Thank you all for the warm welcome. I currently use swarovski slc 10x42 for my viewing pleasure of all the waterfowl that frequent the area during the winter months. My favorite bird to view is the sand hill crane as it is very majestic and peaceful.
