    Bird Watcher vs Birder

    Are bird watchers ever called birders? I came across an online definition which referred to birders as those who catch or hunt birds. I always thought that "birder" is just another name for "bird watcher"

    Name Of Plant

    Anyone know the name of this plant? I was surprised that a hummingbird was attracted to it. The little guy seemed to like the tiny flowers growing out of the stem and hung around for quite a bit.

    Grackles Raiding Feeder

    Is there a way I can keep grackles away from the bird feeder? It's filled with sunflower seeds. They hog everything and there's nothing left for the other birds. The other birds also don't go to the feeder when the grackles are at it.
