    Maplewood Flats, North Vancouver, British Columbia. May 2024. Size of a warbler/chickadee. 3.5 - 4.5 inch in length The bird is laid back, not agile. Doesn't get much scared of humans getting closer but would fly/walk away when getting as close as inches. Feeds on unbloomed dandelion buds...

    Hi, Is this bird a sparrow? What kind? It was taken in Maplewood Flats in North Vancouver, BC. Adjacent to Vancouver harbour. Its size was much larger than a chickadee - maybe 3 - 4 times larger.

    Hello, Bird experts! My friend spotted this bird in Harrison Lake, BC by the water. It looks darker in the photo, but colour is brownish in person. Fairly large - wing span is easily 3 - 4 ft. Do you have any clues what this bid might be?

    Hi I took these pictures near my place. City urban area. Vancouver, BC, Canada, resident area. These crow always hang out near my place and also are very commonly spotted in in other neighbourhood in the city. Would anyone please identify what species of crow are they?
