    Opinion on CN

IHF on CN when discussing the new bc from prc ,WOW, they have really drank the Koolaid over there. "In fact I don't know of any notable optical innovations by Swarovski. I would like to learn more if there are any. Swarovski strikes me as the ultimate follower company, somehow out-incrementing...

    Nikon SE

Here is a partial description of a Nikon SE 10X42 by a seller on the bay who professes to be an expert. "They are made of weather sealed magnesium, are waterproof to 3.3 feet (although have never been submerged), and are nitrogen filled to negate fogging".

    BX-3 8x42

Picked these up still wrapped in plastic, new old stock 2015?. Very pleasant resolution and color rendition. While not hd like the bx-4, I find the build quality more to my liking.

    Meopta Meopro

Just wanted to give a heads up regarding the older Meopro HD models. I purchased a Meopro 8X32 HD not too long ago (2017date of manufacture) new in box, and after some use, I really liked them, except that I noticed the tubes were not focusing simultaneously. So I registered them and contacted...

    Leopold Service

Going to test the Leopold service this week sending in an Alpine binocular, not bad for the price however diopter needs service. They no longer service the high end Golden Ring roofs, so if one sends one in you get a suitable replacement.

Leica BA and BN Serial #s

Is there a table, complete with year of production of both BA and BN models through end of production of the BNs? I have seen one for the early BA models but nothing for later BN production dates.

    Nikon Venturer

I finally found one of these 8X23 Venturers with everything, quite surprised that it had the odor of rubber and grease, If it were used, likely not very much if at all. I think they have better optics and are better built than the Venturer II.

    Zeiss IF 6X30

I received this a couple of weeks ago, and have been looking for this model quite a while. One not brutalized. It took a bit over a week to come from Sweden and was well worth the wait. This one is in excellent condition for the age over ~ 50+/- years old, and the optics look as new the rubber...

    Older Telescope

For Binastro, Just attached some pics of my fathers scope Newbold and Bulford Ltd., it needs some work on the objective (looks coupled since the haze is internal ) but the view is quite pleasing for the age. Not sure of the mag. 15X?

    Luck

Sometimes it is luck, or it is timing. I just procured these Leica accessories for much less than asking (practically new), I will use the case for the BA 10X50.

    SV 8X32

I have been spending some time with these over the fall and have been impressed with both the optics and especially the handling of this glass, while it is not as small in stature as the FL as a traveling glass, it more than makes up for it in other ways as a versatile glass and the ease to get...

    Elimination/Replacement

This brand is no longer around, the threads are old, the last thread is from early this year. As there are other brands that are up and running, perhaps a replacement is in order. I am sure many members can provide some suggestions for other new brand names that are actually producing a product.

    Monarch M7

I contacted Nikon after waiting for their customer support, and they have no idea on when the new M7 will come off backorder, so if one is looking to obtain one, it could be a while if one wants to order directly from Nikon. They are some available on the bay.

    Leica Service

I sent these in a few weeks ago, some mild dust particulates inside. Well they are back with new armor, (other descriptions type plate, shield) I have no idea what that means but they look and feel brand new, with that great Leica view, like getting a time capsule brand new. I am extremely...
