    All taken at Llandrindod Wells lake. We heard both species call but unfortunately, not while they were in view. I have them all down as Marsh Tits but would love to be proved wrong :-). Help please!!

    Help with ID on this one please...apologies for dreadful photos, it was a long way off. I initially thought Redwing but it was too small and it had two pale stripes down it's back (pic 2). I shall probably kick myself when I know what it is :-)

    Took this shot in Roscoe, Illinois last week. I'm torn between White-throated Sparrow and Song Sparrow but I may well be totally wrong. I'm in the UK and am not well up on US birds. Any help appreciated.

    I took these two record shots in a location in the Elan Valley, Powys where Ring Ouzels were reported the previous day. The bird was quite a way away and the light was atrocious but there does seem to be a paler crescent on the breast. Could this be a female or juvenile Ring Ouzel or is it...

    The first is a well-worn one, I suspect a Riband Wave? The two micros were in the trap this morning...they are different moths but I think they are probably the same species. Thanks Ian
