    Problems logging out of BF

    Morning all A strange thing has been happening for the last few days. I finish browsing BF, mark everything as read and log out. All seems normal, including after logging out I see the log in screen. However, when I next visit BF, I'm already logged in!! Any ideas? cheers martin

    Hi all I'd be very grateful for confirmation/correction of the 3 micros, and suggestions as to the identity of the footman (I assume it's Buff). I identified the Agonopterix as cililella based on flight season. Is that safe, or can heracliana be on the wing in August? cheers martin

    Scat ID

    Wasn't sure where to put this question (you'll understand why when you view the image). This was on our patio yesterday morning. 2.5" long and 1" diameter at it's widest point. The chalky deposits at one end made me think it was from a bird. Any ideas? cheers martin

    2 micros, a geometer, 2 noctuids.......

    Some more micros

    I think that micros 1 and 2 are Depressaria pastinacella (both rather worn), micro 3 I thought was Aspilapteryx tringipennella, although I'm not certain it's holding it's legs/body in the correct position for a gracillariid. Micro 4 I don't have a clue.... Confirmations/help with ID...

    Continuing the run of trapping sessions with plenty of micros, last night's haul included these 4. I think that the first one is Celypha lacunana, the second one Plutella xylostella(although it doesn't seem to be exactly the same as others that I've caught), the third one I've never seen before...
