    black stork near Loches

    Anyone know any good walks offering chance to see black stork around Loches? It's been reported in several books on the area and in recent leaflets about the great tree walk, but all a bit vague. Is there a suitable area of marsh where they feed? Cheers Chris

    Having just spent a week north of Loches, where I usually see lots of hen and montagu's harriers I didn't see a single bird this year. I'm back again in a fortnight. Have other areas seen a drop in numbers or was I just unlucky? Chris
