    Tascam DR-07 & parabolic mic

    Hi everyone, I have a Tascam DR-07 to which I’ve attached a parabolic microphone. I’m trying to use it to listen to the dawn chorus etc. but I’m having difficulty getting it to work. Given that I know both are working I’m assuming I have something set wrong in the recorder. Is anybody here...

    Lovely picture. I too was told that they were difficult to photograph and found it not to be so. Although it's nice to hear them singing it's also very sad as it's a lonely male singing to attract a mate. As soon as they do, they stop singing. TFS.

    Excellent picture. I've seen this look before - just before it attacked me!!:oops: I'm a volunteer wildlife rescuer and was collecting a grounded gannet. It saw me as a threat and when they feel in danger they attack. You did really well to get this image. Thanks for sharing it.
