The grackles would probably eat the safflower, they can’t really eat nijer seeds due to their beaks. Your songbirds and cardinals will - though the cardinals do like other things better.

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. You can try only feeding safflower feed for a week or two, blackbirds don’t like it but cardinals, house finches and doves will eat it.
