    This pool is called Blakemere and is located in the Staffordshire Moorlands. It is known locally as the Mermaids Pool. A mermaid is said to frequent here and to lure travellers to their deaths!!

    I got stuck on that lane on Friday night along with another car and 4x4. Had to be towed to the end of lane to escape. Seriously bad snow drift/spindrift conditions in fading light!!! I was lucky to get out of there. I saw a Brown hare along here last weekend! Dean:t:
