    Rudyard late morning. A small finch flock along north end of railway line with 2 x Brambling , 7 x Siskin and 11 x Lesser Redpoll today . Good numbers of Nuthatch around along with 4 x Willow Tit at the bridge north end and a single Kingfisher. Steve........:t:

    Iam doing well this week, first i pulled a long legged Bird at Shustoke (Rhea) . And today i had a Shag at Draycote, must be my lucky week .:t: Also managed to catch up with Max,s little friend .

    There has been good movements of birds through the midlands today , but i think this is going a bit to far. This fully grown Rhea standing over 6ft tall was at Shustoke today (lost). As i pulled out of the car park i had not gone more than a couple of hundred yards when faced with this walking...

    One of the resident Little Owls was showing well at Shustoke this mornig, but no sign of the juv B N Grebe , or yesterdays female Redstart. more news on the Shustoke Blog at. http://shustoke.blogspot.com/ The Bird Fair at Rutland was packed today, possibly due to the weather. (Sunshine):eek!:

    Max Just had a text from Nick Troman its still there, and with a bit of persistence and little patience it does show well. The problem is getting the light right. Also you should be pleased with your shot, some have tried and failed :eek!::eek!::eek!:
