    Teleconverters for Canon Eos.

Hi Steve, I did not find it too successful with the canon 100/400. It did work, but only in strong light and on subjects that had a lot of contrast detail. I found the auto focus hunting a lot. Others do seem to manage, but it was a no go for me. The same Canon 1.4 mkII works very well with the...

Olympus TCON 300 Telephoto lens for E20

Your welcome Roy, glad I could help. I enjoyed the the E10 very much and think that the E10/20 is among the best of the fixed lens DSLR's

Olympus TCON 300 Telephoto lens for E20

You have to use the it at full zoom on main lens (to avoid vinetting) then rough focus with maual focus ring on the Tcon 300 then autofocus works. The stronger the light the better it works. Not as good as the 14b. Autofocus is slower and image is softer. I moved over to the Canon D60 a year or...

Olympus TCON 300 Telephoto lens for E20

Hi, I used the Tcon 300 with a E10. My feeling then was it wasn't worth the money, but at the prices on offer now. Maybe it is. It's a little cumbersome to use and you will need the cable release and a good tripod to achieve good results. I also found the final image to be a little soft. You may...

    Meade ETX 90 ....

...does anyone have any experience of useing this scope for digiscoping, it would be used with a canon rebel. If this has been discussed before perhaps someone could point me to the thread. Thanks Mike

    New converter from Olympus?

As an ex Tcon300 owner (used with my E10) I can asure you it is not compatible with any other model. It relies on the special support bracket keeping the 62mm lenses in contact. I tried a hand held shot with an UZI using a step-up ring to match lens size, but it would take considerable...

    Hi

An old member (in more ways than one) who has been absent for awhile. Thought I would offer greetings from a Bedfordshire backyard. I see many familiar names and lots of new ones.
