    saw this bird on the hereford/wales border near longtown today, it circled over my head and gave the impression of being quite small, it was flying more like a bop than a heron, when i looked through bins it looked a browny orange colour, i managed a couple of pics. wonder if you could help me...

    L whitethroat, herefs, today

    saw this bird today, skulking in a willow tree, and these were the only shots i managed, the bird appeared to have dark ear coverts and the wing colour was the same colour as the back, however all of this was from very limited views in the shadows haven't seen one this year yet! cheers espen
