    Great Northern Diver, Stoke Newington

    Dungeness, 24th .

    55 species. 4 lifers. OK. The only really annoying thing was that; we went on the bittern walk, everyone else saw the bittern, and I didn't! That would have been a lifer for me!

    Ruddy Shelduck, is it rare or not? (Cliffe Pools RSPB)

    I saw a ruddy shelduck at Cliffe pools RSPB on aug. 3rd last year. It was amongst a flock of other shelduck. My collins field guide says that ruddy shelduck are really rare but birdguides doesn't. Is it rare or not?|:x|
