    Thanks everyone, and my apologies as I appear to have posted this query before. The clip was sent to me by my daughter and answered as a female eider. I found the Whatsapp video again today, the file name suggested it needed to be identified. Once again thanks for your time.

    Andrew thanks for that. I think that clears it up. I had also gone with a Scoter originally, but the wing flap in my clips does not have those characteristics.

    Are there any visual clues that can separate these Kingbirds? I have several images taken near Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo recently. I have no audio to help me. Thanks all. Oh and Happy New Birding Year.

    Seen recently in Tulum, I can't decide if it's a Black Catbird or a Melodious Blackbird. Sadly it was not singing, just very busy foraging. Thanks in advance.

    I have narrowed this bird down to either a Philadelphia Vireo or a Greenish Elaenia, and with my scant knowledge can go no further. Help is needed. The image is the only one I have. Seen a few weeks ago near Reserva Toh, Puerto Morelos. Thanks.
