    Norfolk birding

Rather good looking hybrid Hooded/Carrion Crow. Pure Hoodeds would have grey underparts as well.

    Norfolk birding

Thanks, the red looks pretty 'pure' to me. I wonder if that means there is still a viable number in that area? Good to know, either way.

    Norfolk birding

(I am not trolling for the site and suggest you don't give it out to anyone, but ...) Did your Golden Pheasant have a true red throat, or was there any black emerging? The last one's I saw in the Brecks were developing black throats (thought to be a sign of regressive genes, rather than...

    Norfolk Butterflies and Moths

Either way it would have been nice to know about, living so close! Have had good numbers of Diamond-backs and Silver Ys in my moth trap in Dereham, so penetrating inland!

    Help please

Simon doesn't know you (as neither do I) and was just giving some sound advice, which you seem to have taken as a personal slight. However, from your comments I am not convinced about your understanding of responsibilities.

    Ring-neck Turtle Dove Mutation?

Completely agree with Valery. ... and to add' I have seen a number of pale birds like this here in the UK, scarce, but not overly rare. Google images of Collared Dove...

    Goose

The birds with Black bills are domestic Chinese Swan Goose and the others are hybrid Chinese Swan Goose/Greylag. There also also a 'wonderful' variety of Mallard ducks behind them, showing the diversity of the domestic types of these! A single Greater Canada Goose is at the back/

    Parrot Crossbills 2013
