    White sparrow? Bedford, UK

Thanks, everybody. Xenospiza, that leucostic sparrow example looks very much like 'my' bird, even though the jury is still out with some of you guys.

    White sparrow? Bedford, UK

Cheers, Paul. In all the time I've seen it, there are only sparrows present. Yes, Andrew. I think it's a sparrow but I am not the pro here.

Found a swallow on the ground that couldn't fly. Need help ASAP!?

A couple of years ago I found a young blackbird that had fallen out of its nest ... rescuing him from the pavement where a cat would soon have found him, I took it to my garden next door. Soon after the parents of this bird were frantically calling and flying around to locate it so I put it...

I've added a couple more vids ... the last one has a bit more of the rear view, if it helps. Is a young white greenfinch common then? Thanks for all your comments so far.

    White sparrow? Bedford, UK

Hi Guys, Noticed this bird has been at my feeders over the past 10 days up to yesterday Sunday 7th June. It usually shows up when other sparrows are attending. Seems a bit skittish but holds its own with other birds ... I've seen it peck a sparrow's head to get it to move on from the feeder...

I was over at Norfolk last weekend and down by West Runton beach, there are a couple of fields where I heard this very different whistle. Now I am a newbie at this so I tried to track the bird down. This bird flutters while seemingly stationary in the sky and twitters away! Tried to view it...

Welcome Rupicola, You have started an subject of interest. The Cock of the Rock is one gorgeous bird which I originally thought was native to Guyana or the Guianas as it were. But with the Amazon ecosystem being so large there would be variants across a given region. I remember first hearing...
