    Peanut feeder

    Woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees, carolina wrens and blue jays all LOVE peanuts at our house, just keep them fresh and you'll get something, maybe try moving the location of the feeder?

    Hello, a fellow canadian/ontario bird feeder! Nice too see :) We too have a pair of carolina wrens this winter, they seem to love peanut hearts and peanut butter flavoured suet! I have many of the winter birds you describe as well, would love an evening grosbeak and redpoll as well!

    Feeding birds all year?

    I feed birds all year for several reasons, but the main reasons are i love feeding them and I keep the birds around so come winte,r there still regular visitors when they really need the food :P also, summer and spring bring migratory birds which are often bright and nice looking!
