    Had 72 species in 3 hours this morning-bodes well for the all dayer! Highlights included Stonechat and Whinchat at Holt set-a-side, female Redstart at Church Farm Meadows and Yellow Wagtail at Wagon Wheel Pits. Jared

    As no-one seems to have been around yesterday, I'd Better add that I had 2 Dunlin on the Flashes yesterday plus a flyover adult Common Gull over the sailing pool. In total I had 57 species for my first visit this year-indeed since early November! Jared

    Hi Neil hows things? There are small numbers of Bramblings in the Postenplains area of Wyre this year, they are in the Beeches along the track between the containers and log piles. Cheers, Jared

    There were 2 Four-spotted Chasers on the seasonal pool at the North Moors this morning-im thinking this is the first record@ Upton this year? (they are a new upton dragonfly for me!) Also a male Common Blue butterfly below the East Hide Jared

    Monkwood yesterday: 17 White Admirals, 5 Purple Hairstreaks and clouds of Marbled Whites and Gatekeepers among the Highlights! Grimley: 2 male Ruddy Darters and many Four-spotted Chasers among others on Camp Lane Pits.

    Got the White-letter Hairstreak this morning flitting around the top of the largest Elm -closest to the road- showed quite well! Also a nice male Southern Hawker in the same area-it landed quite close :)

    Mark, virtually all the damsels were at the south end-the white-legs were in the juncus by the generator thing, more water down that end!
